Bilzi Mac Policies
Payment Policy
- Payment for sales and services are due at the time services are completed.
- Items purchased or repaired must be paid for in full before being released.
- We accept cash, verified bank checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, and debit card payments.
- Businesses in good standing may apply for open billing/invoicing.
- Checks over $200 are subject to verification from issuing bank.
- Checks returned unpaid will result in a $35 fee being added to the invoice and the account must be paid in full in cash before systems will be released.
- All sales of services, computers, and mobile devices are final.
- We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee on any non-defective returns for used computers and PC components within 15 days of the purchase date.
- 15% restocking fee will be waived if the system is returned within 15 days for an upgraded part or computer.
- After 15 days, we do not accept any non-defective returns per the terms of our warranties.See next section.
- Retail returns other than computers or mobile devices will be accepted if returned in their unopened packaging within 15 days.
- Computers, new or refurbished parts, or other hardware are warranted for with a 90 days unless otherwise specified or further covered by manufacturer's extended warranty.
- Hard drives are covered by manufacturer's warranties and, if failing beyond our 90 day period, will incur labor charges for replacement and data transfer.
- Bilzi Consulting may offer, at their discretion, an extended warranty on refurbished computers up to to 1 year for 25% of the purchase price ($50 minimum warranty cost).
- Bilzi Consulting reserves the right to examine a returned unit to determine the reason for failure. Damage or failure due to negligence, improper use, or physical abuse, intended or unintended, is not covered by warranty.
- Upon acceptance of the coverage claim, Bilzi Consulting reserves the right to determine whether to repair a covered returned device at no cost to you, exchange it for a comparable unit, or fully refund the purchase price within the warranty period if we cannot repair or replace the model.
- Software issues of any kind including malware or operating system issues are specifically not covered by warranty.
- See specific warranty for each type of repair. Many repairs are backed by a 6 month warranty, such as DC-in board repairs, screen replacements, upgrades, and part replacements.
- Hard drives are covered by their manufacturer's respective warranties, none less than one year.
- Batteries and power supplies, if undamaged by apparent physical abuse, are covered for 6 months.
- Every attempt is made to faithfully and expertly recover data when contracted as a separate line item. Data is kept on our servers for a period of 60 days when recovered to them, thereafter purged. Clients have until that time to examine their data for accuracy and serviceability. No warranty is made for errors or inconsistencies beyond that date without written notification and mutual consent. Refunds may not be possible and cannot exceed original payment for data recovery services.
- Upon good faith attempt at notification by Bilzi Consulting of completion or resolution of service, an invoice will be generated and all items serviced must be paid for in full and picked up within 60 days of the invoice date.
- 60 days after reasonable but unsuccessful attempts by Bilzi Consulting to notify a client who left a system at our Oleander Drive location for service, if the system in question has been left at our location without contact from same client of the computer, the system will be considered abandoned and will be repossessed by Bilzi Consulting to cover costs incurred and/or to facilitate recycling.
